DesktopGroups works entirely on your PC. It has no accounts, analytics or ads, makes no internet connections, and sends no data to me or anyone else.

What it stores, on your PC

Items you put in a group: %AppData%\DesktopGroups\<group>\
Group styles and settings: %AppData%\DesktopGroups\groups.json
Generated tile icons: %LocalAppData%\DesktopGroups\Icons

Removing it

Delete your groups first so their items go back to the desktop, quit the app, then delete the folders above.
