Terms of use
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms apply when you download or use Encore for YouTube Music. By using it, you agree to them.
Free and open source
Encore is free, with no ads and nothing to buy. Its source code is licensed under the GPL-3.0, which sets out what you may do with the code.
YouTube Music
Encore shows the official music.youtube.com website with your own account, so Google's own terms for YouTube and YouTube Music still apply to how you use it. Encore doesn't download music or block ads. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, YouTube or Discord.
Listening together
Anyone who has your session code or link can join and see what you're playing, so only share it with people you want listening along. Use listen-along sessions and Discord status in line with Discord's terms.
No warranty
Encore is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It may have bugs, change, or stop working, and I can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, Encore.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Encore after a change, the new terms apply.
Contact
Questions, requests or problems: email lilxcham@proton.me. Encore is a personal project run by one person, lilxcham, not a company.
