Terms of use
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms apply when you add KneeGuard to a Discord server or use it. By adding it, you agree to them.
Free to use
KneeGuard is free. There are no ads and nothing to buy.
No warranty
KneeGuard is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It may have bugs, change, or stop working, and I can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, KneeGuard.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using KneeGuard after a change, the new terms apply.
Adding it to a server
Only add KneeGuard to servers you manage or have permission to set it up in. Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using it. KneeGuard is not affiliated with Discord.
Moderation decisions
KneeGuard helps your moderators; it doesn't replace them. It can miss harmful content or flag something harmless, and you're responsible for the settings you choose and the actions taken in your server.
Fair use
Don't try to abuse, overload or reverse-engineer the bot, or use it to harass people. I may remove KneeGuard from servers that misuse it.
Availability
KneeGuard can go offline for updates or problems, and I may change or stop it at any time.
